We collaborate with luxury residential properties, corporate teams, and private clients to deliver high-touch, highly memorable experiences.
And now, we’re looking for an Event Operations Assistant to join the crew and help make the magic happen!
About the Role:
This is a hands-on, high-energy position perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves problem-solving on the fly, and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty (sometimes literally!). You’ll support our team with everything from prepping and packing materials in the studio to setting up and breaking down incredible events all over the Chicago area.

What You’ll Do:
Event Prep + Logistics:
Run local errands to pick up supplies, décor, snacks, and last-minute materials for events
Assist the Event Operations Manager with hands-on prep like making signage, packing kits, and cleaning or organizing event gear
Load, transport, and unload event materials and equipment
Help set up and tear down decor, furniture, signage, and hardscape elements on-site
Provide general event support and troubleshoot issues with a calm, can-do attitude
Assist with building, cleaning, painting, and organizing props, backdrops, and event materials
Studio Support:
Keep our studio tidy, functional, and well-stocked—helping us stay prepped for every event
Organize materials post-event and keep equipment in top shape for the next activation
Assist with inventory checks and basic upkeep of event tools and materials
You’re a Great Fit If You:
Love being part of a collaborative team but can take initiative and work independently
Enjoy staying physically active and can lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Have a flexible schedule, including availability for nights and weekends
Are detail-oriented, resourceful, and down for a challenge
Take pride in showing up on time, staying organized, and working hard
You’ve got a valid driver’s license and a good sense of direction around the city
The Details:
Pay: $18/hr | Minimum of 15 hrs/week guaranteed
More hours available during busy seasons (Summer, Fall, Holiday)
We’ll cover your BASSET certification if bartending ever comes into play
Must be 21+; previous event or hospitality experience a plus but not required
